Glen Snider - Senior Pastor   JESUS INSTITUTED A PLACE OF SAFETY AND SUPPORT   At a time when our world seems to be increasingly hostile, we can gain great comfort in  knowing that Jesus instituted a place of safety and support in His Body, the Church.  The Church is different from anything else in the world!  It is the only institution that will last!  Jesus told a story about two builders, one wise the other one foolish.  The wise builder built his house upon a rock, and when the floods came the foundation stood firm.  The foolish builder built his house upon the sand and when the flood came his house was destroyed.    At Cornerstone Community Church, Jesus Christ is our firm foundation!  He is the Solid Rock upon which we build our lives.  As we move forward together, let us remember and live the lives that Christ commanded us to live.   Jesus said in Mark 12:30-31 "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength' and then " Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these. "     As we press on toward the goal that God has called us, let us work, play and pray together, loving God and loving each other.    Yours in Christ,  Pastor Glen
